The Dexterdyne E-Transmitter
If you have been keeping up - you will know that we have been developing an new thin e-transmitter using Apache and RealAudio for streaming media delivery from Pentium based Windows 2000, XP and Mac OS X 10.0/Unix Platforms. The dexterdyne e-transmitter allows academic organizations, broadcasters or business enterprises to produce and deliver searchable streaming audio and video content in a secure, reliable, easy and cost efficient manner.
Though offered specifically to operate on MicroSoft and Macintosh operating systems - the dexterdyne e-transmitter does not rely on proprietary or insecure server models (Frontpage / IIS for example) and can be integrated into any SSI enabled Apache 2.0 compliant server. Our solution is also available for port for most other binary dataform file server models that would benefit from automated and/or time based load balancing.
The dexterdyne e-transmitter rotates licensed content based on time of day, server loading or a combination of both - thus audio, video and other static or interactive dataform content producers everywhere can now easily provide fast, flexible and accountable internet bitcasting and webcasting facilities to their current IT infrastructure using their own bandwidth, hardware and production staff or contractors. Often without the need to remove the machine from the production LAN. The dexterdyne e-transmitter is now available on a stand alone basis (installed and configured) as well as part of a Maintenance and Enhancement (M&E) support contract based on your service requirements.
This should be very exciting if you personally are facing a delivery cost or hosting solution problem. But - sadly - the details will be about as boring as watching paint dry to normal people with friends, families - you know - real lives more than 25 feet from a stinking wall jack - unlike us.
Never the less - if you would like to have a a brief outline of our file server solution to consider it's useful and cost effective benefits to your organization - please drop me an e-mail outlining your challenge.
